Description
SMP22 Pyranometer
The SMP22 pyranometer is a Class A (formerly secondary standard) pyranometer that combines the new smart interface with quartz domes and sensor technology from the CMP22. Building on the CMP22, which has a proven track record of decades, makes the SMP22 the most accurate and reliable pyranometer in the world.
The SMP22 has the widest spectral range, improved directional response, and reduced thermal offsets.
Because of the highest optical quality domes, the directional error is reduced below 5 W/m2.
The SMP22 comes standard with RS-485 Modbus® interface and a 5-year warranty. It is the ideal pyranometer for high-level research and meteorological studies.
When fitted with the CVF4 Ventilator the SMP22 is truly one of the most accurate methods to measure GHI, DIF (with shading ball) and in some cases plane of array irradiance.
