Brewer MkIII Spectrophotometer by Kipp & Zonen

The Brewer MkIII provides near simultaneous observations of the total ozone column, SO2, and UV spectra.

With high wavelength accuracy, automatic celestial tracking and excellent stray light reduction, the Brewer MkIII is designed for long term use with continued and reliable stability.

Description

Brewer MkIII Spectrophotometer

The Brewer MkIII Spectrophotometer is recommended by Environment Canada due to its superior measurement of Ozone and solar radiation on the UV spectrum, the MkIII is differentiated by its use of a double-monochromator optical system. This allows for the much improved stray light performance that the MkIII offers.

The two-axis tracking, appropriate filter selections, on-board wavelength calibration, and data logging are managed through internal electronics and an IBM compatible host computer. Control software for the PC enables 24 hr scheduling and remote unattended operation.
