Battery Logging Hydrological Sensors
The Greenspan range of logging water quality sensors (L series) has the optional extra of internal batteries for a power supply. The battery allows logging for up to 6 months without being changed.
The batteries allow sensors to be deployed for clandestine monitoring as no solar panel or external battery pack is needed. The sensors can be deployed and left in situ for months at a time with no maintenance or monitoring required, no solar panel cleaning or checking of power connectors etc. The sensors are set and forget.
